Are you ready for a deeper connection with Christ and with Westview? Our many Life Groups provide opportunities to discuss scripture and learn more about God while connecting with the church community.
Life Groups Meeting Sundays
Sermon Review - Beginning October 16th, 2022, anyone who wants to stay after the service to further explore the Scripture passage and sermon of the day is welcome to return to the sanctuary at 11:15 and join the conversation.
Enquirers Class - Do you have questions about our faith, Christianity and Baptism? This class seeks to guide you through these questions and more. Our current class is in now in progress. Let us know of interest in future classes we may offer.
Life Groups Throughout the Week
Alpha Online - We are currently between alpha courses to find an alpha near you search their website.
Westview at Prayer - Once a month (2nd Saturday morning) at 9:30 am we gather to pray for our church and our community. We are currently meeting on Zoom until we can meet again in person.
Praying for our World - Once a month (last Sunday evening) at 7pm we gather to pray for our world. We are currently meeting on Zoom until we can meet in person again.
Women’s Prayer and Bible Study - Currently on hold. Details TBD
SonShine Gang (Puppets) - 11 years and older, led by Charlotte Van Roestel - stay tuned for details.
A Note about Life Groups
At Westview we don’t want anyone to be lost in the crowd. Regardless of whether you have been at Westview for years or are brand new to us, we want you to be noticed and included. That’s why we have our “Life Group Ministry.” In Life Groups we gather in small groups, either midweek or following our Sunday worship, to deepen our faith in Christ, strengthen our fellowship with each other, and equip each other to live out Christ’s mission. As we grow in faith and fellowship, Life Groups become a safe place to invite friends who are asking questions about faith in Christ.
On Sunday morning, following 10 a.m. worship, we have a variety of Life Group options to attend, each has a different commitment level attached to it but each with valuable opportunities to know Christ more and to know each other more:

There’s a Life Group that is open to EVERYONE but it will be ideal for those who are just checking out Westview for the first time with no commitment to continue, but a place to begin to belong and not get lost in the crowd;

There’s a Life Group for those who are seeking to begin a relationship with Westview or with Jesus Christ requiring a short-term commitment of two to three months and allowing for deeper relationships to form and for Biblical and spiritual themes to be explored at greater depth;

There’s an assortment of Biblically based or topically themed Life Groups which run for two to three months and which are geared more toward growing an established faith in Christ, though open to others as well.
Midweek we also have a variety of Biblically and topically based groups.
Life Groups are to grow our Life in Christ and our Life with each other so that no one needs to be lost in the crowd at Westview.
Lifelines is an opportunity to connect with one or 2 other individuals from our Westview community over the phone.
