When should I show up on Sunday?
Our service starts at with worship music at 9:55 every Sunday morning, feel free to come early to chat with others, from September through June hot drinks are available before and after the service
What is the service like?
Our services generally lasts a little over an hour, we start with worship music for the first section of the service, then we have a children's moment, go over any announcements, have a congregational prayer, then in the second half we read the day's passage and hear a message about God's word from our Pastor, following this we have some closing songs, and a final blessing, after the service all are invited to stay and chat in our fellowship area. In the summer time weather permitting refreshment are available outside on our front lawn. Communion is shared every first Sunday of the month.
What is there for my children during church?
We have a family worship approach where families begin worshipping together in the sanctuary, children (jk-gr.6) are later invited forward for a children's moment, and then are welcome to attend children's church, new families are asked to accompany their children to their classes to check them in. classes are available for elementary age children and preschooler's, our nursery is currently unstaffed but open for anyone who needs it.
What should I wear?
We want everyone to feel welcome here at Westview and encourage you to come as you are, it's up to you we don't have any requirement for what you should wear, We try to maintain a sent free environment
Where should I sit?
Our sanctuary is flexible having both tables and chairs (Cafe style seating) and you can sit where you feel comfortable, greeters and ushers are also available to help guide you
